QUICK FACTS ON FENG SHUI FROM TÛBA İMİK SAKA
Which School In Feng Shui:
In Feng Shui, there are two schools: “Compass” and “Form”. Compass is a school that includes time factor and individual data of people living in the space, which enables us to obtain reliable results. Feng Shui is a doctrine of the combination of many sciences, and when it comes to the time factor, the science of astronomy manifests itself. Each structure has an element map, in other words, a birth chart according to the year of construction. Through this map Feng Shui analysis can be calculated in an area which elements are located in which areas. Thus, it can be seen whether the elements are active with the positive aspect or with the negative aspect, and solutions can be produced to strengthen or passive.
In the Form school, general meanings are given to the directions and some formal arrangements are envisioned. For example, the mirror is not placed in front of the entrance door is one of these assumptions. If you have a Feng Shui map edited by a Feng Shui expert who applies a Compass school, if there is an element that will affect you negatively nearby the entrance door, s/he may suggest that you place a mirror oppose the entrance door to prevent this negative effect. Since the Form school does not take into account the time factor, it can lead to incorrect solutions and sometimes carries the risk of damaging instead of benefit.
