We are opening the Pastoral Vadi gathering on May 24–28 for those who would like to practice yoga together, experience the atmosphere of Pastoral Vadi, and get to know our “Being Nature Itself” approach more closely.
You do not need to be registered for a teacher training to join this retreat. Those who simply want to join the retreat experience are also welcome.
Those who wish can also consider this retreat as an introduction and pre-gathering before the IFY 200H and 300H Yoga Teacher Trainings. It is suitable for those who would like to work with us face to face, see our teaching language, and practice together before moving into the teacher training.
Participants who are interested in the 200H summer term starting on June 27 or the new 200H term starting on September 5 can continue with the registration process after the retreat.
The retreat is also open to our current students and graduates who would like to come together again, practice, and share the atmosphere of Pastoral Vadi.
The days begin with morning yoga practices. During the day, time is left for walking, resting, and free time. In the late afternoons, there will be somatic work, movement research, and sharings related to the “Being Nature Itself” approach.
Who is it suitable for?
For those who only want to join the retreat:
You do not need to be registered for a teacher training to join this gathering. Those who simply want to practice, spend four nights and five days at Pastoral Vadi, and experience the retreat atmosphere are welcome to join.
For those considering teacher training:
Those who are considering joining the IFY 200H or 300H Yoga Teacher Trainings can use this retreat as an opportunity to meet us face to face and see our way of working more closely.
For participants who join this retreat and then register for an IFY 200H or 300H Yoga Teacher Training, half of the retreat participation fee will be deducted from the training fee. This advantage can be used for the June 27 summer term, the September 5 new term, or a later IFY teacher training.
For IFY graduates and current students:
200H and 300H students and graduates can join with the community discount. This gathering is also open to those who would like to come together again and continue practicing face to face.

Standard participation: 9,000 TL + VAT
Community participation:
For current 200H / 300H students and graduates: 4,500 TL + VAT
For participants in the mentorship program:
The retreat participation fee is included in the mentorship program.
Accommodation:

APPROACH
This gathering opens a space to experience the approach in person before entering the yoga teacher training process.
The practices are shaped around sensing the body, researching movement, relating to practice through the elements, and connecting more directly with nature.
Each session is offered as an invitation. Participation can follow each person’s own rhythm. Watching, resting, or passing is always possible.
Participation in the yoga teacher training is not required to join this retreat. You can also join simply for the retreat experience, practice, and a few days at Pastoral Vadi.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Open to all levels.
No previous yoga experience is required.
It is a natural meeting space especially for our 200H / 300H students and graduates, while also remaining open to those joining for the first time.
PASTORAL VADI
Pastoral Vadi is located in Yanıklar Village, Fethiye, in a wide and quiet area surrounded by nature.
This is also why free time is kept spacious within the flow of the gathering: to walk, rest, talk, and spend a few days in a simpler rhythm.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is at Pastoral Vadi.
Rooms are generally shared by two people. The houses have shared bathrooms.
Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM.
FOOD
The menu is vegetarian / vegan.
A gluten-free option can be prepared.
Tea is included. Coffee is extra.

Pastoral Vadi is located in Yanıklar Village, on the Dalaman–Fethiye main road. It is approximately 40 km from Dalaman and 15 km from Fethiye.
By Plane
The nearest airport is Dalaman Airport.
From Dalaman Airport, take the Havaş shuttle bus to Fethiye. After approximately 40 minutes, before reaching Fethiye, get off in Yanıklar Village, just after crossing the bridge, in front of Kardeşler Market.
There is a taxi stand next to the market. Pastoral Vadi is about 3 km from there.

By Bus
For those coming by bus from Ankara or Istanbul:
The nearest bus station is Fethiye Bus Station. At the bus station, ask for Muğla Makası. It is the large intersection located about 50 meters from the bus station.
Minibuses to Yanıklar Village pass through this intersection. Yanıklar Village is the last stop. You can either ask the minibus driver to take you to Pastoral Vadi for an additional fee, or get off in front of Kardeşler Market and take one of the taxis waiting there.

Get off in front of Kardeşler Market in Yanıklar Village, approximately 15 km before Fethiye. From there, take one of the taxis waiting in front of the market.

By Car
If you are coming from Fethiye:
On the Antalya–Muğla main road, about 15 km after Fethiye, you will see the sign for Yanıklar Village. Continue on the main road. First, you will see the Petline petrol station, then a pedestrian bridge.
Move into the right lane and slow down. About 50 meters after the pedestrian bridge, leave the main road and turn right onto the side road. Continue through the houses for a while, then turn right, keeping Kargı Stream on your left.
This paved road is Dolmuş Caddesi. After a while, the road leaves the streamside and reaches an irrigation canal slightly higher up. Follow the road on the left side of the irrigation canal.
Pastoral Vadi is about 3 km from the main road. You will see the “Pastoral Vadi” sign on the left.
If you are coming from Dalaman:
On the Muğla–Antalya main road, after Göcek and İnlice Village, pass the sign for Katrancı Bay. As you go down the hill, you will see the sign for Yanıklar Village, Kargı Stream, and the bridge you will cross.
About 100 meters after crossing the bridge, turn right. When the road ends, turn right again. Continue a little further, pass under the bridge, and you will reach Dolmuş Caddesi.
After a while, the road leaves the streamside and reaches an irrigation canal slightly higher up. Follow the road on the left side of the irrigation canal.
Pastoral Vadi is about 3 km from the main road. You will see the “Pastoral Vadi” sign on the left.
